Hi all,
Good news! After filing what was clearly a frivolous copyright claim against my film, The M-A Chronicle decided not to pursue a legal claim and Substack restored the original post that was removed. If you wish to review the page and watch the film on Substack, please click here.
So far, YouTube and Vimeo have restored the trailer this past weekend. We are still waiting on them to restore the entire film. The actions of the paper cost us significant damages and possible legal action against the student and the paper still remain on the table since there are legal consequences for filing bogus legal claims as well as committing perjury.
Aside from that, we just had a very successful screening in Chicago (sold out!) last Sunday and now we are having another screening in beautiful Marin County this Sunday at 4 PM, PST. For tickets (already going fast), please click here or the flier below:
And here is the dynamic panel:
If you are from the area, be sure to attend since this will likely be our last Bay Area screening as the film begins its journey to the East Coast.
Thank you for your support!
Best,
Eli
Yes, very good news. Congratulations!
Well done.
As I watched the documentary, I was struck by the persistence of hate against the jews historically and now by young, white and mult-ethnic college students. Where is the public outcry by blacks to support the great grandchildren of former Jewish allies of the civil rights movement?
It was also disturbing to watch any school district that would support the dismantling of honors classes in the name of DEI. I am flabbergasted by this. In the pre-civil rights era, blacks simply wanted acceptance into schools and colleges based on merit rather than race. Today, I am embarassed to see some so-called educators succumb to the sheer fallacy of equity dogma. This is a sure way to reinforce inferiority concepts to innocent children and keep alive the bigotry of low expectations. We can do better.
