Wow Eli, it's really 1984!

The attorney I suggest is Harmeet Dhillon, in San Francisco. Call her office and tell her I sent you. This fight is right up her alley. Dhillon Law Group is her firm.

I'll get you her number.

This is the second piece I have read today about activity of this type. Another blog I follow (not on this platform) received a warning from the behemoth of all, starts with a G, for a comment in the comments section, referencing an actual event. Too many warnings, and the whole site is deplatformed, if I understand correctly.

It's my view that those in power are becoming desperate because their lies are unraveling (that should be raveling but decades of mis-use have made the former in common use even though it's a double negative).

I'm sorry I don't have the means to offer more than words of empathy and try to encourage you. I greatly enjoy reading your posts, seeing your work.

This is infuriating, but not unexpected. All part of the current moment. You can't tell the truth these days without the liars getting all offended. Imagine!

Eli, consider the harassment a sign that you're on the right track. As in the past, you will prevail.

Sounds like you are hitting the right toes Eli!

Where can you watch it?

I believe that what you are promulgating in this movie is incorrect. I am Jewish and I have read and studied the history of "Israel" and belief it is a sham.

Eli, watch this in its entirety; you're not the only one facing this BS. various bloggers have called out certain DEI companies of corrupting certain commercial works; these DEI companies are using legal demands to try to shut the bloggers up. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sw5jnyCMUWk

Eli, use Rumble.com or Truth Social to post the trailer. They are the alternative to YouTube. YouTube needs to be sue for 1st amendment violations and also categorized as a utility. They should have no right to censor anyone. Rumble.com is a good choice ,but its audience is limited and does reach those you most want to reach.

I managed to see the trailer this afternoon before Vimeo apparently took it down. I hope to be able to see the entire film someday. The reason I just went back to see the trailer again is that something about it troubled me and I wanted to see if I had misunderstood something. The clips about Israel/Palestine/Hamas gave me the impression that the film itself may be pushing ideological oversimplifications regarding complicated issues, although the filmmaker's avowed purpose is to expose that very technique. Someone who has seen the movie please tell me that the film does not do this.

As of 9:14 pm eastern on 4/4 (when I clicked the link) Vimeo has taken down your trailer.

What a drag that you’re having to deal with this. The weaponization of copyright complaints and of “safety” measures to suppress viewpoint is happening across the political spectrum. I had this recent experience on Instagram, which I documented in my notes —

https://substack.com/@paolobiscotto/note/c-52836136?r=h12a6&utm_medium=ios&utm_source=notes-share-action

— and I also had a video taken down by YouTube in January because, they said, “it violates our violent criminal organizations policy.” (I did an entire Substack post about that — it was yet another instance of YouTube censoring any content that quotes from the manifesto of the nonbinary school shooter Audrey Hale. In case you never noticed: the entire manifesto of Ted Kaczynski, the Unabomber, is available on YouTube as a 2 hour audiobook.)

The most valuable feature of Substack is its commitment to free speech. The only hope for reversing the many regressive things happening in our society is getting accurate information out to people — and it means that this and other free speech platforms need to grow, and that we need to push back at the censorious behemoths as much as we can. In your case, it’s such a clear case of fair use — but, yes, you’ve got a the-process-is-the-punishment ordeal to contend with, and it’s wholly unfair.

I think they pulled it from Vimeo too

Evil hates truth and will fight dirty. But press on. Keep sharing how others can screen the film. Also an idea: since Bill O’Reilly wrote a bunch of books with titles “Killing…” I wonder if he would be interested in helping give your film platform. He’s of the same mind.
